Product Highlights
The 3M™ Under Sink Full Flow Water Filter System 3MFF100 is one of several options in a complete product portfolio delivering cleaner, clearer drinking water. This under sink filtration system is NSF listed to reduce particulate, chlorine taste a select VOCs such as benzene and p-Dichlorobenzene. This system connects to the primary kitchen or bath water faucet.
This under-sink water filtration solution delivers great tasting, filtered water right to your existing kitchen or bathroom faucet. 3M Under Sink Full Flow Water Filter System 3MFF100 is 3M’s state-of-the-art system with a capacity of up to 6,000 gallons. This system provides water filtration on demand for drinking (water, coffee, tea) and for cooking purposes. It is NSF certified to reduce particulate, chlorine taste and odor, parasitic protozoan cysts, lead, and select volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as benzene and p-Dichlorobenzene. A key feature of this water filter is that it is designed to flow at the rate of your faucet (up to 2.5 gallons per minute) –
minimizing loss of water pressure commonly seen with using water filters. Advanced triple stage filtration process to help provide cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water. First stage nonwoven media captures the larger particles, then in the second stage, the pleated sub-micron membrane reduces particles as small as 0.2 micron, and finally, the carbon block reduces chlorine, taste, and odor and select VOCs that may be present in the drinking water. The 3M Aqua-Pure 3MFF100 is easier to install than dedicated faucet under counter drinking water systems because it connects to your existing faucet. It does not require a separate faucet or any holes to be drilled into your countertop. It requires minimal under sink space. Filter change-outs takes a few minutes with the easy Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design. The head assembly has a built-in shut-off valve that allows for changing the filter without shutting off
the water supply. The universal system design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. Includes a filter-head assembly, filter and mounting screws (installation requires some household tools and additional plumbing components. Please read user instructions). To maximize system performance and efficiency, replace every 12 months, at the rated capacity, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow occurs. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality.

Frequently Asked Question
If you are a well-equipped person with pluming knowledge and you have modern plumbing installed in your house, you will be able to follow the step-by-step instructions in the manual provided in the box. There are also online YouTube videos that shows you step by step how to install your filter. Installing your filter does require additional tools that are not included with the filter.
3M water filters should be installed in the recommended vertical position. Installing the filters horizontally can result in increased stress on the system and potential damage/failure to your food service equipment and property.
The activated carbon in the cartridge has a large surface area consisting of thousands of small pores that help the cartridge perform its designed functions. These pores trap air within the carbon in the cartridge. When water enters the cartridge, it forces the air out of the pores in the carbon. This makes the water appear cloudy, or discolored, and should decrease over time. Flush the filter-system according to the instructions specified in the product manual or performance data sheet.
